In August we walked through the streets of Uji. Now we’re doing the same in Tokyo.
We’ll taste matcha from some of Tokyo’s best-known tea shops, side by side.
Session Details
Sunday, October 11th – Two identical sessions:
Format:
- First 30 minutes: Open Q&A about matcha, tea, sourcing, preparation
- Main event: The Tokyo Trail – matcha from Tokyo’s best tea shops, tasted side by side with discussion
Practical details:
- 12 people per session, about two hours each
- West Town, near Ashland & Division, a short walk from the Blue Line’s Division stop – exact address sent to ticket holders before the day
- We’ll be outdoors and it might be a little chilly or windy; bring some warmth
- We’ll be tasting a lot of matcha, so eat beforehand if you’re caffeine-sensitive
